SCHEFTER: “Sam Bradford… that’s not going to happen”

Our NFL Insider, Adam Schefter of ESPN called into the show to preview the draft, as well as give us an update on the hunt for a Denver Broncos quarterback.

Adam started things off with guns a blazing… shooting down the latest rumors of who will fill the Broncos QB position. “Sam Bradford… that’s not going to happen” Schefter said.
The guy that has been in the news feed to be the next guy to toss the pigskin for the Broncos, has been Colin Kaepernick. Adam said, “We are today, where were last week and last month… no change“. Both the 49ers and Broncos are unwilling to give in. Schefter continued with, “I don’t know if anything will change leading up to the draft“… that being said, “the draft could change things“, Schefter added.
Adam dove into Brian Hoyer, “Denver is talking to him. He’s going to wait through the weekend to where quarterbacks go in the draft, so he can make a better educated decision.”
So what’s the latest on Tyrod Tyler becoming a Bronco? “That’s not happening“, Adam said.

Before we jumped off the Denver Broncos QB options, Adam talked about the possibilities of Josh McCown heading to Denver. “I like the Josh McCown scenario if Cleveland goes and takes a quarterback in say, round two tonight“, Adam said on McCown.
With all of the knowledge that Adam Schefter has on the NFL, he, as well as all of us can still be blindsided by a move. And like he said, the next Broncos QB is dependent on what happens in the draft.
