NFL Draft Order: Broncos Have Ten Picks

The 2016 NFL Draft will kickoff on Thursday, April 28th at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago, IL. Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan will have live coverage throughout the weekend and you can also catch televised coverage of the picks on ESPN. The Denver Broncos have ten draft picks this year including three compensatory picks they received for TE Julius Thomas, OT Orlando Franklin, and NT Terrance Knighton leaving the team via free agency last season. Compensatory picks cannot be traded this year but a rule change approved in 2015 allows teams to trade those picks starting next year. Here are the Broncos picks in the 2016 NFL Draft:
1st Round: 31st Overall
2nd Round: 63rd Overall
3rd Round: 94th Overall
3rd Round: 98th Overall (Compensatory Pick)
4th Round: 136th Overall (Compensatory Pick)
5th Round: 144th Overall (From Baltimore in trade for C Gino Gradkowski)
6th Round: 219th Overall (Compensatory Pick)
7th Round: 228th Overall (From San Francisco in trade for TE Vernon Davis)
7th Round: 235th Overall (From Los Angeles via Houston in trade for OT Chris Clark)
7th Round: 253rd Overall
Thursday, April 28th: First Round
Friday, April 29th: Second and Third Rounds
Saturday, April 30th: Fourth Round through Seventh Round
