DMac and Tyler: “The Hockey Guys”. The Drive: 06.05.20

Kicking off the show DMac and Tyler heard from a video put together from NFL players on the current situation the country is in. Our 9News Broncos insider Mike Klis joined the show to talk about Broncos players going to protest tomorrow downtown. Mike discussed which players could be downtown tomorrow. DMac asked Mike who hires the assistant coaches on the coaching staff. In the water cooler, the guys explained why they’re the real hockey fans of the station. Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post joined the show and gave us an update on where the MLBPA and owners are at in their current proposals. Patrick also explained how this situation is affecting Nolan Arenado and a possible trade.
In Football at Four, the fellas reacted to Kyle Shanahan speaking on the diversity within his coaching staff. DMac talked about what he’s hearing from his birdie about Ja’Wuan James and Garett Bolles. DMac asked Tyler if James could play left tackle. With it being Jets week, the guys give their prediction on if the Broncos will come out of the game with a win. Tyler then talked about how he is in the championship round of the Madden tournament. The guys heard from Tim Connolly as he gave comments about how he thinks the Nuggets will be when they start the season again. Does Nikola Jokic really have abs? The fellas also gave their thoughts on Roger Goodell speaking out.
In the third hour, the guys explained why they’re the real hockey fans of the station. DMac and Tyler proved how they know more about hockey than Sandy and Orlando.
In the top six, the Broncos will go downtown tomorrow. DMac and Tyler reacted to Roger Goodell’s comments as well as John Elway’s.
