DMac and Tyler opened the show talking about the latest article on Peyton Manning as he gets ready for “The Match.” Shawn Drotar then joined the show to talk a little trash with Tyler on their Madden Championship game. In the water cooler, Peyton Manning announced that Peyton’s Places will return for a 2nd season. DMac explained why he’s disappointed that Tom Brady will have a documentary on ESPN next year. DMac then kills it with truth on the possible new rule changes in the NFL.
In Football at Four, the fellas jump back into Steelers week to preview week two of the regular season for the Broncos. What would prevent the Broncos from winning this game? Tyler asked DMac, if there are no fans in Pittsburgh would that make a difference to help the Broncos. The guys then jumped back into Pat’s Playbook for the final time with the Vikings losing in the NFC Championship. Former Vikings guard Jeremiah Sirles joined the show and explained what happened in that NFC Championship. Sirles gave his thoughts on what it was like with his own coaches saying that Case Keenum was getting lucky each game. Our Broncos insider Nicki Jhabvala joined the show and talked about Drew Lock’s private workouts. Nicki gave her thoughts on the proposed rule changes that could come into play this season. James Merilatt of 1043TheFan.com joined the show to talk about The Fan’s Timeline 25 with the year 2000 where Mike Anderson became a rookie for the Broncos and Ray Bourque was traded to the Avs. The guys broke down which Denver athletes deserve to be inducted into the ring of fame.
In the third hour, the guys jumped back into The Fan Film Room to break down the film of Albert O and what his chemistry looked like with Drew Lock in college. The fellas then heard from Bill Polian on how he thinks the Broncos will perform on offense under Pat Shurmur. Why does Bill Barnwell think so highly of the Broncos?
