In the first hour of The Drive with DMac, Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson opened with the freighting news from last night’s Thursday Night Football game and the guys discussed what the future could be for Myles Garret. On the Countdown, the topics ranged from updates from the NFL on suspensions and fines, Bryce Callahan going on the IR and key injuries from the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver core. Wrapping up the first hour of The Drive, 1043TheFan.com’s Cecil Lammey joined the show and looked at the tape for both the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings and the key players that will have the most impact. Lammey also dove into his press conference question from yesterday and reflected on how he found a precise statistic that confused Von Miller
In the second hour of The Drive with DMac, Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus shared their thoughts on the brawl on Thursday Night Football and what the NFL needs to do to ensure this does not happen again. The guys talked about the breaking news from Dove Valley with injuries and how the Denver Broncos will handle the injuries before traveling to Minnesota to play the Vikings. On Gary Kubiak Week: Day 5, the guys talked about the decision of benching Paxton Lynch in a meaningless game against the Oakland Raiders and the suspicion the guys had with this bold coaching move. On Prop Bets the guys guessed on topics from Brandon Allen passing yards, targets for Tim Patrick, and other Broncos v. Vikings bets. Ferguson and Polumbus talked about what it is like being a first year starter with their nerves and what Allen could be feeling in his second NFL start. Wrapping up the third hour of The Drive, DMac, Ferguson and Polumbus gave their predictions for the Broncos game against the Vikings.
In the third hour of The Drive, DMac alongside Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson were joined by Kendall Valenzuela and they had Three Questions. Wrapping up the third hour of The Drive with DMac, Polumbus and Ferguson, the guys played Would You Rather.
In the final hour of The Drive with DMac, Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus opened with the Top 6 with Myles Garret being suspended indefinitely for the remainder of the season, Phillip Lindsay being compared to Darren Sproles, and Bryce Callahan being placed on IR and done for the season. The guys previewed a few NFL games this Sunday and which ones stand out the most with their predictions. Dan Jacobs joined and talked about the legal ramification with Myles Garret and what could happen outside of the NFL and what could happen in court. Wrapping up the evening on The Drive, the guys discussed the consequences Garret should go through after his brawl on Thursday Night Football.
