Broncos Injury Report: Getting healthier after the bye week

Nov 14, 2019, 4:41 PM

After getting a week off, with no practice and no game, the Broncos had a chance to mend just past the midway point of the season. The seven days of rest did some good, as Denver is getting healthier as they head into Week 11.

Two weeks ago, the Broncos were banged up when they faced the Browns. On Sunday when the head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, Denver will be in much better shape health-wise.

Here’s who was listed on the Broncos official injury report as of Thursday, November 14:

***

FULL PARTICIPATION

Duke Dawson (CB)
Injury – Foot
Note – The foot injury that has lingered for a couple of weeks hasn’t kept the cornerback off the practice field the past couple of days, so Dawson should be good to go in Minnesota

Phillip Lindsay (RB)
Injury – Wrist
Note – The second-year running back popped up on the injury report prior to the Browns game, but he played against Cleveland; expect him to be a go against the Vikings as well

Will Parks (S)
Injury – Hand
Note – The safety has been sidelined since the Chiefs game with a hand injury, but he appears ready to return to the lineup this Sunday

DeMarcus Walker (DE)
Injury – Shoulder
Note – After missing some time with a bum shoulder, Walker hopes to continue his promising season when the Broncos take on the Vikings

***

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

DaeSean Hamilton (WR)
Injury – Knee
Note – Hamilton wasn’t on the injury list on Wednesday, so his injury just popped up; if he can’t go on Sunday, the Broncos will need to find another No. 2 wide receiver opposite of Courtland Sutton

Jeff Heuerman (TE)
Injury – Knee
Note – The oft-injured tight end limped off the field three weeks ago in Indianapolis, hurting a knee that sidelined him against Cleveland and could keep him out on Sunday

Ja’Wuan James (RT)
Injury – Knee
Note – After returning from a knee injury suffered in the season opener, James returned for a quarter-plus against the Colts; the Broncos are taking it slow with his second return to the lineup

***

DID NOT PRACTICE

Bryce Callahan (CB)
Injury – Foot
Note – The cornerback tried to practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering an injury during training camp, but now it looks like he’s headed to IR
