The University of Southern California is looking for a new athletic director, seeking a replacement for Lynn Swann, who resigned abruptly in September amid FBI allegations and other problems. And according to reports, they’ve narrowed in on a name that is familiar to sports fans in Colorado.
#USC is nearing a deal with Cincinnati AD Mike Bohn, a source close to the process tells The Athletic.

Taking over a beleaguered program is nothing new to Bohn. He served as the AD at the University of Colorado from 2005-13, taking the job as the Buffaloes were reeling from major problems and allegations associated with the football team.
Bohn was able to stabilize things in Boulder, bridging the chasm that had developed between the program and the community. Navigating the football team through the end of the Gary Barnett era wasn’t an easy task to walk into.
Now, Bohn will be facing a similar challenge, trying to return USC to prominence.
