Catching lightning in a bottle? The Drive: 10.14.19

Oct 14, 2019, 7:07 PM

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!

Reviewing the Denver Broncos win against the Tennessee Titans on Reaction Monday, DMac, Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus discussed how the Broncos won their second game in a row and what that could mean for the match-up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. According to Polumbus, he said in order to get on a winning streak, a team must win three consecutive wins and Polumbus doesn’t see that happening against the top team in the AFC West. On The Countdown, head coach Vic Fangio, gave an injury update and the impact for the Broncos if they don’t have Emmanuel Sanders on TNF. Who showed up yesterday, and who went missing? DMac, Polumbus and Ferguson all debated and discussed.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!

In the second hour of The Drive, DMac, Tyler Polumbus and Nick Ferguson took a look at the numbers with the Denver Broncos when they played the Tennessee Titans and shared their thoughts on what the number actually mean both on the offense and on the defense. Denver 7’s Troy Renck joined the program and the guys asked him about the recent injuries to key Broncos play makers and who could be on the trade deadline. Renck also discussed about how realistic the chances are for the Broncos against the Chiefs. The guys went over their bets from Friday’s show and talked about how close they were the bets. With the trade deadline coming up, DMac, Ferguson, and Polumbus shared why they think the Broncos should be buyers or sellers. The guys on The Drive discussed the problems for the Titans at the quarterback position and who the future QB should be for that franchise and they also talked about other young QB’s in the league and who has stood out the most this year.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!

In the third hour of The Drive, Dmac, Nick Ferguson and Tyler Polumbus talked about the baseball playoffs and how nothing compares to an extra inning walk-off homer in the playoffs and tried to find a sport that compared to the excitement and Ferguson had a strong disagreement and compared it to a hail marry or school yard pitch and catch. Wrapping up the third hour of The Drive on Reaction Monday, the guys talked about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly from the Broncos Sunday’s win against the Tennessee Titans. The good defense, the bad special teams and the ugly injuries that could impact this team down the road this season.

LISTEN TO HOUR FOUR HERE!

In the fourth hour, DMac, Tyler and Nick recap the top stories of the day with the Top 6 at 6:00! Will Ja’Wuan James be ready to play against the Chiefs? What is wrong with Emmanuel Sanders? Which players do the Broncos need to return from Injured Reserve? The guys break down what yesterday’s win against the Titans means for the rest of the season. Denver 7’s Troy Renck joined the program and the guys asked him about the recent injuries to key Broncos playmakers and who could be on the trade deadline.
