Game notes

» The Denver Broncos (0-2) look to not only to win its first game of the 2019 season but also its first game against the Green Bay Packers (2-0) in Lambeau Field.

» With a win, Denver would become the sixth team since its inaugural season in 1960 to win 500 games.

» The last time the Broncos dropped more than two games to start the regular season was 1999, the year after John Elway retired. Before then, it had happened only once since the NFL merger, when Denver went 0-4 to start the 1994 season.

» Broncos defensive coordinator Ed Donatell served in the same position for the Packers from 2000 to 2003.

» Packers offensive lineman Billy Turner played for Denver from 2016 to 2018, appearing in 25 games with 11 starts.

» Among the hometown connections from the Packers, punter JK Scott is a Denver native and graduate of Mullen High School and tackle David Bakhtiari (2010 to 2012) and kicker Mason Crosby (2003 to 2006) both played at the University of Colorado.

» Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. needs just one interception to become the 12th Broncos player to intercept 20 during his time with the club.

» Denver pass rusher Von Miller needs just one sack to pass Joey Porter for sole possession of 33rd on the NFL’s all-time sack list.

» Miller needs two sacks to reach 100 for his career, which would make him the fourth-fastest player to do so (Reggie White: 96 games, DeMarcus Ware: 113 games and Bruce Smith: 115 games).

» Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders needs just one 100-yard receiving game to pass tight end Shannon Sharpe and wide receiver Ed McCaffrey for fourth place all-time in franchise history with 19 such games.

» With seven receptions, Sanders would pass tight end Riley Odoms for seventh-most (396) all-time in franchise history.
