In the first hour, DMac and Tom discuss Chris Harris Jr.’s comments following Day 7 of OTAs at UC Health Training Center today. DMac declares May 29th “Chris Harris Day” because he believes he walked away from this contract negotiation a winner. DMac explains why Chris Harris “giving the Broncos a chance” to sign him again next season may not even matter. The guys recap last night’s Rockies win and forecast what is to come as they try to get above .500.
In the second hour, DMac and Tom break down who “won and lost” in the Chris Harris Jr. contract saga. 104.3 The Fan.com’s James Merilatt joins the program to discuss the latest digital content. Tom challenges James’ comments on Chris Harris Jr. James explains why people should be okay with doing the wave at sporting events. Cecil Lammey tags in for DMac, whose vocal cords were failing him. Cecil provides an alternative theory as to why the Broncos gave Chris Harris a raise for this season.
In the third hour, Cecil and Tom discuss where the bar should be set for Noah Fant heading into the 2019 season. Cecil says there is another tight end who outshined this year’s 20th overall pick in practice today. Tom says Dre’Mont Jones could be a sneaky contributor that takes teams by surprise. The guys discuss whether or not the Broncos being overlooked by the national media is a good thing.
