Chad Brown sat in with D-Mac today!
In the first hour, D-Mac and Chad react to the Nuggets’ disappointing to the Spurs in San Antonio. How much does it sting that Parker-native and former CU Buffalo Derrick White dominated the Nuggets from start to finish? Can Michael Malone rally his troops and avoid a first round upset? What should be done about Will Barton’s poor shooting slump? The guys break down Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr.’s latest 3-round dueling mock draft. McShay and Kiper’s picks for the Broncos feature a player who visited Dove Valley this month and a 3rd round pick that D-Mac said will make him absolutely lose his mind. ESPN’s Pedro Gomez closes out the hour providing the latest on the Colorado Rockies, who are in the middle of a winning streak and appear to have left their hitting struggles in the rear view.
In the second hour, D-Mac and Chad highlight San Jose State Tight End Kahale Warring. Could the 6’5”, 252 lbs pass catcher be a safety net for Joe Flacco and revive a position that has been severely lacking for the Broncos since Julius Thomas left? The guys run through Walter Football’s top ranked tight ends for the 2019 draft and debate which prospects could make an impact for the Broncos next season. Greg Carvel, UMass Head Hockey Coach, joins the program to talk about his experience coaching Cale Makar, what he thinks of Makar as a player and what Avalanche fans can expect from their newest Defenseman moving forward. D-Mac says the Broncos could potentially learn a thing or two from their division rivals in Oakland about how to conduct their draft war room.
In the third hour, D-Mac and Chad discuss the Nuggets’ disappointing to the Spurs in San Antonio. How much does it sting that Parker-native and former CU Buffalo Derrick White dominated the Nuggets from start to finish? Can Michael Malone rally his troops and avoid a first round upset? Joe Flacco says he doesn’t look into the draft, and doesn’t care if they take a quarterback. Is he bluffing and, if not, should fans be concerned by his lack of interest?
