The Drive with DMac & Nate Jackson LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Pedro Gomez joins the show to decide if the slow starts for Arenado, Harper & Machado are anything to worry about, or if their averages will balance out as the 2019 season progresses. NFL Network’s James Palmer joins the show to talk about DK Metcalf & AJ Brown at the Ole Miss Pro Day, and if Metcalf helped himself out after a questionable NFL Combine.
DMac goes over the Broncos’ plans & options, and the value of Bradley Chubb compared to a combo of two starters, such as Vita Vea & Will Hernandez. DMac asks Nate to review Chubb’s impact sacks compared to Von’s, and the guys decide the value of a pass rusher when your team needs a QB.
DMac mentions the inexperience of Vic Fangio, and still doesn’t understand the Vance Joseph hiring. Nate defends the VJ hire, and says Denver is learning from their mistakes.

The guys talk about the biggest traitors in Denver sports history, such as Andre Iguodala & Jack Del Rio. Nate says Antonio Brown is probably a traitor to Pittsburgh fans, and DMac defends LB Brandon Marshall, pointing out that BMarsh’s option wasn’t picked up in Denver. The guys agree all sins are forgiven when you win, and it’s hard to have fun when you’re losing.
NFL Network’s James Palmer joins the show to talk about DK Metcalf & AJ Brown at the Ole Miss Pro Day, and if Metcalf helped himself out after a questionable NFL Combine. The guys take calls on if losing can be fun, and DMac asks Nate about James Palmer’s comments on DK Metcalf.
DMac tells Nate he loves Disney stories, and debates what personalities might be too toxic for an NFL offense to handle. Nate stays Captain Positive, and DMac takes some calls on some NFL Draft sleepers to keep an eye on.
Nate says sometimes it’s a good thing to lose right before entering the playoffs to stay humble as a team, and DMac previews the Colorado Avs game against the Coyotes as they fight for playoff position.
D-Mac and Nate reflect on going back to their roots.
