The Drive with DMac & Nate Jackson LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Patrick Saunders with the Denver Post joins the show to talk about the Colorado Rockies’ Opening Day rotation, and if he feels comfortable about it. Nicki Jhabvala with The Athletic joins the show from the NFL Owners’ Meetings in Arizona to talk about the Broncos’ proposed rule-changes, including a 4th-and-15 from the 35-yard line instead of an onside kick.
DMac & Nate discuss Nate’s days on the Broncos practice squad, and how he stayed alive in the NFL. Nate makes DMac laugh when he talks about convincing people he played on the Broncos, and tells DMac he was proud to play against Champ Bailey every day & prepare the defense every week. Also, Nate talks about how it all ended in a flash.
Dmac wants to know if Joe Flacco’s family will be moving to Denver, and asks Nate about the struggles with relocating. Nate says Flacco’s move won’t be too hard on the kids, and location & stability in your personal life affect how you play on the field.
Patrick Saunders with the Denver Post joins the show to talk about the Colorado Rockies’ Opening Day rotation, and if he feels comfortable about it. Patrick says Ryan McMahon earned the 2B spot to start the season, and predicts the Rockies will ride the hot-hand at second base. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
Nate Jackson says Case Keenum was serviceable, but not exciting. DMac mentions the Big 4 QBs the Broncos are bringing in this year, and DMac makes sure Daniel Jones doesn’t have an unfair advantage. DMac says he can’t tell the difference between Clayton Thorson & all the other QBs, and Nate talks about working on blocking in practice & staying after something until you achieve it.

DMac asks Nate about his experience with Achilles injuries, and explains why he feels bad for Emmanuel. DMac tells Nate the Broncos get to think about it with Emmanuel for $1.5 million, and forces Nate to make a decision on who the Broncos should draft.
DMac asks Nate about his relationship with Bill Walsh, and Nate talks about being traded to Denver for a conditional 7th-round pick.
