The Drive with DMac & Chad Brown LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Troy Renck with Denver 7 joins the show to break down the Case Keenum trade to Washington and tell DMac & Chad to never say never with Josh Rosen.

Now it gets more interesting for the Broncos, as breaking news goes down about Case Keenum being traded to the Redskins for a late-round pick & Derek Wolfe’s $1 million option being picked up by Denver. DMac tells Chad the Broncos must now find a backup QB, and Chad says this was the best way to move on from Keenum.

DMac says goodbye to Case Keenum, and remembers Keenum’s best moments in Denver, including John Elway messing up his name. DMac busts out his magic QB cards and mentions the smack talk about Josh Rosen. The guys talk about Rajon Rondo & who he is as a teammate, and DMac asks Chad Brown how much power Luke Walton has.

DMac says its good the Broncos saved three million bucks on the Case Keenum deal, and now Denver has landed in ‘Khaki Pants Land,’ the same spot they were in last year but now with a worse QB class.

Troy Renck with Denver 7 joins the show to break down the Case Keenum trade to Washington and tell DMac & Chad to never say never with Josh Rosen. Troy says where the Broncos go in free agency directly affects what they will do in the draft. Troy mentions free agent Adrian Amos & Chris Harris Jr.’s extension talks. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

DMac still wants to trade for Rosen, and Chad says Denver needs a talented quarterback. DMac asks Chad if John Elway is a magic mushroom smelling dog, and puts that strategy up there with Khaki Pants Land. DMac wants to know where we are going now with Flacco.

DMac takes a call from a listener with a soft spot for Case Keenum, and talks with Chad about if Denver should feel sorry for Keenum. The guys agree Keenum will be fine, and Chad wonders how the young QBs will look at the NFL level.

DMac says something has to break in case of emergency, and Chad gets excited about the idea of Matt Stafford. DMac says this sets up for an exciting year, and watching Elway work is like being on a roller coaster. DMac asks Chad who Joe Flacco will be throwing to, including Tim Patrick, and calls Josh Rosen the hybrid khaki pants QB.

DMac says its awesome when you draft players to become role players and they turn out to be stars. Chad says the Nuggets getting back on track is a sign of a good team, and the guys take calls on value players the Broncos should draft.
