Breaking down the Broncos passing game: C.J. and Stokley

C.J. and Stokley – 09/13/2016 – C.J. and Stokley live in studio. Tuesday’s show the guys talk about week 1 of the NFL and the state of the Broncos passing attack heading into Sunday’s game against the Colts. Rockies play by play voice for Root Sports Drew Goodman joined the show.

Hour one C.J. and Stokley talk about last nights Monday Night Football doubleheader. The guys get into how they felt about both games last night as Washington beat Pittsburgh and San Francisco defeated Los Angeles. The fellas get into that game and more from week 1 of the NFL season.

Brandon Stokley then talks about how the Broncos passing game will be if wide receiver Demaryius Thomas isn’t 100%. Brandon Stokley breaks down what the Broncos might have to do if Demaryius Thomas isn’t completely healthy. C.J. also weighs in with his take on the issue and how he feels the NFL is turning personal wise.

The guys finish the hour talking about the Broncos taking on the Colts this Sunday at Mile High. The guys start to slightly dive into the game.

Hour two C.J. and Stokley talk about the latest NFL power rankings from ESPN. The guys go down the list of the new top eight according to ESPN and give their thoughts on the list. Both C.J. and Brandon Stokley agree and also disagree with the list. The fellas discuss the teams they agree on and the ones they disagree on. The guys don’t think Green Bay should be at number one and also are in shock at where ESPN placed the Broncos within the top eight teams in the NFL.

C.J. and Stokley finish the hour talking about the latest power rankings as well as more discussion on the Broncos passing attack. The guys dig deeper into what the Broncos can do if Demaryius Thomas is banged up Sunday against the Colts at Mile High.

Hour three Rockies play by play voice for Root Sports Drew Goodman joined C.J. and Stokley. Drew talks about the Rockies latest ups and downs. Drew then goes into their current series. Also, Drew looks at the NFL and gives a few things that stood out to him this weekend. Listen to the full interview here!

Later in the hour the guys talk about the Broncos defensive match ups vs. the Colts. C.J. and Brandon Stokley debate which cornerbacks should cover T.Y. Hilton coming up Sunday at home against the Colts.

The fellas wrap up the show by taking a closer look once again at some other scores and results from around the National Football League. C.J. and Stokley give some teams that stood out to them week 1.
