The Broncos didn’t just lose the game against the Packers on Sunday. In the process, they also endured injuries to some key players.
Running back Royce Freeman left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury. He’d return to the game and play through the pain, but his carries were limited.

Defensive lineman Derek Wolfe injured his ankle, having to be carted off the not-yet-frozen tundra at Lambeau Field.

Early reports, however, are positive. While Wolfe will undergo an MRI on Monday to evaluate the extent of his ankle injury, he was telling reporters after the game that he was fine and wouldn’t miss much time.
If the Broncos are going to dig their way out of an 0-3 hole, they’ll need both Freeman and Wolfe on the field. The second-year running back appears fine, while the veteran defensive lineman is TBD at the moment.
