In the first hour, DMac and Tom provide live updates to the Rockies’ game against the Giants and react to comments from today’s press conference at UC Health Training Center. During The Countdown, The guys discuss Drew Lock’s contract situation, the top wide receiver duos in the NFL and how to fix the Rockies’ recent struggles. Nicki Jhabvala, our Fan Broncos Insider, joined the program to break down Drew Lock’s contract situation and preview opening day of Training Camp tomorrow.
In the second hour, DMac and Tom continue the countdown to Training Camp 2019 by discussing whether or not Joe Flacco can bounce back here in Denver. The guys react to comments from John Elway and Vic Fangio at their press conference earlier today. DMac explains why he thinks Tom is an “Elway apologist”. The guys discuss whether or not it is a smart move to have Rich Scangarello up in the box during games.
In the third hour, DMac and Tom discuss Fangio’s comments on the weather forecast during Training Camp. DMac recaps Fangio’s story about his Training Camp experiences early in his career and how he feels about fan interaction. The guys close out the hour handing out their high fives for the day.
In the fourth hour, DMac and Tom recap the top stories of the day with the Top 6 at 6:00. The guys discuss Drew Lock’s contract negotiation, rule changes in the SEC, LeBron’s unique Tuesday tradition, the NFLPA’s potential lawsuit and more! Tom gets flooded with invites to Broncos games this season after explaining why he likes to sit in the upper sections.
