Tom explains why it may be time for fans to reset their expectations for the quarterback position here in Denver. During The Countdown, the guys discuss the latest development in the Broncos’ ownership saga, Michael Porter Jr.’s statement after Summer League and Trevor Story’s historic weekend. Patrick Saunders, our Fan Rockies Insider, joined the program to analyze the Rockies’ painful loss to the Giants this afternoon and make his predictions for the second game of the doubleheader.

In the second hour, DMac and Tom continue the Countdown to Training Camp 2019 by speculating how Vic Fangio will run his first training camp as a head coach. 1043TheFan.com’s James Merilatt joined the program after a lengthy absence to defend the top 5 selections of his “Top 60 Since ‘60” list. The guys discuss the historic Wimbledon final. Tom has a problem with the way the tiebreaker was executed. DMac fills Tom in on the bizarre encounter with Marquette King that occurred during training camp last year and argues why things will be drastically different this time around.
