In the first hour, DMac and Tom discuss the Rockies’ victory over the Giants last night. Adrian Dater, Editor in Chief of ColoradoHockeyNow.com, joins the program to break down the Avalanche’s latest trade and speculate which moves the team may make heading into free agency. The guys react to the news that the NCAA is threatening to ban California colleges from championships because of a bill being proposed that would allow athletes to be compensated for the use of their name, image or likeness.
In the second hour, DMac and Tom discuss the NFL’s most bloated contracts. Tom makes a case why number one on the list may be justified, and says the Broncos should consider following suit. The guys react to Mike Evans and Orlando Franklin discussing Mark Schlereth’s comment about the offensive line being the root of all the Broncos’ problems post Super Bowl 50. DMac comments the Michigan baseball team’s interesting decision prior to tonight’s College World Series game.
In the third hour, DMac and Tom discuss ESPN’s latest survey which found that an alarming number of athletic trainers made decisions that weren’t in the best interest of their players because of pressure from head coaches. The guys close out the show handing out their high fives for the day.
