When the Broncos selected Noah Fant with the 20th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, it was a pick that might’ve left some fans curious about the newest member of the team. After all, the tight end wasn’t among the players cracking the top-10 of most mock drafts, so he wasn’t often connected to Denver at No. 10. But after a draft night trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers moved the orange and blue down 10 spots on the board, the Broncos found themselves fishing in a different pond when their turn to pick rolled around. That put them in a position to grab Fant.
