DENVER — Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM) announces ESPN’s Pedro Gomez and The Denver Post’s Patrick Saunders will be joining the outlet to support its commentary of the Colorado Rockies this season.
Gomez has been reporting on Major League Baseball for 27 years, with the past 16 at ESPN. Much of that time has been spent covering teams in the National League West, including the Rockies. Saunders is in his 13th year covering the Rockies for the Denver Post. He returns to Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan, where has contributed for the past five seasons.
“I’m excited that Pedro and Patrick will help lead our increased focus on the Rockies this season,” said Raj Sharan, program director for Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan. “Patrick covers the team as closely as anyone while Pedro brings a unique national insight of the Rockies and their divisional rivals. We’re thrilled Denver listeners will enjoy more Rockies content across our radio and digital platforms.”
Rockies fans will be able to listen to Gomez and Saunders regularly on “Schlereth and Evans,” “Stokley and Zach,” “The Drive,” and with Sandy Clough; as well as at 1043TheFan.com and on Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan’s mobile app.
