The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Peter McKee joins the show to talk about the New England Patriots parade going by too fast, and Big Al asks Peter about fans in Boston being spoiled.
Al & DMac say the rich get richer & the smart get smarter in New England. DMac says the Broncos don’t need Emmanuel Sanders after his Achilles injury, and Big Al wants to know if Denver is about winning or building. DMac says the Broncos need to go 8-8 or they are a lousy organization, and he’s serious about the Hall of Fame 5 & Chubb is just a good player.
In the Big 3, the guys talk about Super Bowl parades, and why Phillip Lindsay isn’t among the NFL’s greatest running backs. Big Al wants to know if Anthony Davis will be traded to the Lakers, and DMac is sick of Lavar Ball telling the world where his sons should play.
The guys talk about the Avs & Rockies, and when there will be a parade in Denver. Al says you never know the way things will shape up in the West, but he can’t see a championship run coming for the Nuggets. Al is excited about Malik Beasley, and doesn’t like some of Michael Malone’s comments.
Al & DMac talk about the new young coaches in the NFL, and what will happen with Kyler Murray and the Miami Dolphins. Al keeps an eye on Matt LaFleur in Green Bay.
Big Al gives DMac his list of first-year coaches looking for success in 2019, and ranks Fangio low due to the fact that he does not have a QB1 set in place.
The guys get into Eric Dickerson’s thoughts on Sean Mannion, and the money that’s tied up in Jared Goff in Los Angeles. Dickerson has seen Mannion’s talent as a backup, and Al is salivating at the thought of Mannion compared to this year’s draft class.
DMac mentions Lindsey Vonn’s career, and asks the callers what the Broncos are doing. Also, DMac is down on all the QBs coming out this year & thinks we blew it.
DMac tells a story about Alan Roach, and what he’s been doing here in Denver. DMac says the voice of the NFL is the best voice in America, and Big Al agrees. DMac plays back audio of Alan Roach on the Howard Stern show. Big Al says the Broncos don’t have an answer at QB, and DMac says Case Keenum doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor.
Peter McKee joins the show to talk about the New England Patriots parade going by too fast, and Big Al asks Peter about fans in Boston being spoiled. Peter says the Patriots were only the fourth or fifth best team in the NFL this year, but the defense & Edelman were fabulous. Al & DMac find out why Peter gave Tom Brady a C+ grade for Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
