The Drive with Big Al & Dmac LIVE IN STUDIO!!!

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys talk about Adam Ottavino going to the Yankees, and DMac says McGee & Shaw will be important. DMac jokingly says it’s important that Paxton Lynch is in the NFL & Colin Kaepernick is not, and Al says at least Paxton will get a full offseason of work with the Seahawks. DMac goes over the remarkable story of Rich Scangarello, and the mock draft that has Kyler Murray going No. 1 overall.

In the Big 3, DMac mentions Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft, and asks Big Al if he’d be okay with drafting DeAndre Baker. Al says shutdown corners are important, and DMac says Lonzo Ball is the most developed of the Ball family.

The guys talk more about the Ball family, and sports dads letting their kids play in college. Also, Big Al brings up Scottie Pippen’s opinion on Zion Williamson shutting it down now that he’s locked up a high draft pick for himself & shoe deals. Al says Williamson is a freak & this is the mentality of the NBA.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The guys continue their talk on shoe deals & sports dads. DMac talks about Archie Manning’s control over Eli, and Tommy Maddox as a bad decision by the Broncos. Al & DMac decide if Elway had his mind made up on Scangarello too son, and Al fears Elway sticking with his principles will get him in trouble.

A caller asks about Nick Mullens in Denver, and Big Al says we already have Case Keenum. Big Al says he is only really interested in Josh Rosen.

DMac compares NFL celebrations to rugby, and Big Al says you don’t want crazy players like Tak McKinley on your team. Also, DMac is tired of the rookie hair-cut tradition & calls it death by inches.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Big Al says all QBs that can run & throw accurately can run Rich Scangarello’s offense, and the Broncos’ season will come down to who the quarterback is. Also, DMac wants to get rid of Emmanuel Sanders, but Al says Sanders is too explosive to let go.

Big Al says if the Broncos wanted someone from the Shanahan tree, why didn’t they just hire Kyle Shanahan or Mike Shanahan. Al looks out for Vance Joseph, and feels like this is all experimental. Also, DMac wonders if the Broncos should trade Von Miller for a Top-3 pick.
