Chad Brown fills in for Big Al. Dmac and Chad talk about Big Al nailing the 51 yard field goal on his birthday, and how Zach doesn’t believe Big Al can dunk a basketball. Dmac and Chad reflect on Troy Aikman calling for a complete overhaul within the Cowboys organization, and discuss whether or not parting ways with Elway and Joe Ellis would be best for the team. Dmac asks Chad whether or not it was a good idea for the Broncos to keep Vance Joseph as the head coach. Chad asks Dmac whether or not the Broncos should use Chris Harris Jr. in more creative ways in order to prevent teams from scheming around him. The guys react to Mike Leach’s comments on Ralphie the Buffalo ahead of Washington State’s game against Colorado. Dmac says Kyrie Irving needs to grow up after his outburst following Jamal Murray’s 48-point performance. Dmac talks about his lengthy relationship with Craig Carton, who is now facing up to 45 years in prison after being convicted on fraud charges.
Dmac and Chad continue reacting to Mike Leach’s comments on Ralphie, and segue that into an update on Army’s prank gone awry where they seriously injured Air Force’s falcon mascot Aurora. The guys discuss ESPN’s newly-released “Top 10 NFL Rookies” list which features a pair of Bronco standouts. Dmac asked Chad whether or not the same people responsible for drafting Paxton Lynch can be trusted to find another quarterback and right the ship. At this point, is there any way Case Keenum can be the long-term answer for the Broncos? Dmac says the Broncos need to do some soul searching and explains why the team may have traded away the wrong wide receiver. Mark Schlereth comes after Dmac, attacking his comments about the way Demaryius Thomas acted prior to being traded to the Houston Texans.
Dmac and Chad discuss Demaryius Thomas’ departure from the team, and comments he and Vance Joseph have made after the game against the Texans. Dmac makes his pitch for an episode of People’s Court as he remembers some of the stunts he pulled early in his career. With the Broncos on a bye week, the guys discuss what the players should do, given that the team has no met expectations thus far. Is Bryce Harper crazy for turning down the Nationals’ 10-year $300 million offer?
