The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! John McClain of Sports Radio 610 in Houston joins the show to talk about the Texans trading for Demaryius Thomas, and tells the guys Houston was desperate for a WR after losing Will Fuller to a torn ACL.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Big Al says it would have been ‘gravy’ having Demaryius Thomas for a playoff run, and the guys argue over whether it was a good or great job by John Elway moving DT. DMac says you can’t deny Courtland Sutton’s talent, and Al says if he were DT right now, he’s happy about what happened.

John McClain of Sports Radio 610 in Houston joins the show to talk about the Texans trading for Demaryius Thomas, and tells the guys Houston was desperate for a WR after losing Will Fuller to a torn ACL. McClain assures DMac all teams inquired about Emmanuel Sanders, but he was not available. McClain agrees with Big Al about DT being a smart, quality teammate. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

The guys review the details of the DT trade to the Houston Texans, and DMac asks Al who got the better deal. DMac thinks Elway missed an opportunity to deal Emmanuel Sanders, and asks Al after the Nuggets’ home win over the Pelicans if he’s ready to admit he was wrong about Michael Malone. Also, NYG backup QB Kyle Lauletta gets arrested for a traffic violation.

DMac says Emmanuel Sanders is only concerned about making WR1 money, and not about DT being traded. DMac tells Al we need to expect rumblings of a holdout from Sanders, and the guys review the emotional way Sanders ended the interview with Cecil & Pritch. DMac says it sounds like Sanders wishes he was traded to Houston, and Al says he doesn’t blame Sanders for feeling that way.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac says John Elway must have plans for Emmanuel Sanders in the Broncos’ future, and this year’s QB draft class is completely random. Thinking ahead, the guys agree Emmanuel Sanders is smart, and always looking out for himself. Al says DT has been a warrior for the Denver Broncos, and now Elway can start moving forward. DMac says this game against the Texans will define the franchise for years to come.

The guys talk about Halloween & when you’re too old to go trick-or-treating. DMac doesn’t like the idea of his kids being out too late, and says Broncos fans are loyal to a fault. Al says we took a shot on Keenum and missed, and DMac is ready to take a shot on Ryan Finley from NC State.

Al says Bradley Chubb is having an unbelievable year, but don’t expect him to become DeMarcus Ware, and Phillip Lindsay is also standing out. Al wants more guys than just Lindsay & Chubb to have big years, like Garett Bolles & Todd Davis for example.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Big Al says when your team stinks, you want out. Al remembers playing with Brian Griese compared to playing with Steve Young & John Elway, and says the decision to play with a winning QB was easy. Big Al tells DMac there’s nobody in Denver more upset about the Case Keenum deal than he is. DMac says we are staring at a three-year rebuild in Denver, and Al calls Von Miller a generational player.

We hear from Bill O’Brien on Case Keenum being doubted, and O’Brien says Keenum deserves respect. DMac says either Bill O’Brien is lying or Case Keenum is, and he has to side with Keenum.

The guys talk about what it would take for the Cleveland Browns to land Lincoln Riley, and Al expects Riley to think about it long & hard. DMac says the Broncos are in a similar situation to the Browns.
