A pair of Denver Broncos veterans have been placed on the trading block, according to reports early Sunday.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos have fielded calls about trades for wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, and those offers have not been rebuffed.
The five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver will make $8.5 million in 2018 and is due to make $14 million in 2019, per Spotrac.com.
Thomas has started each the Broncos seven games this season, grabbing 33 receptions on 49 targets for 372 yards and three touchdowns.
However, Thomas may not be the only Broncos player available on the trade block. Mike Klis of 9News reports linebacker Brandon Marshall could also be in the mix.
According to Klis, the two are available in part because of rookies pushing for their jobs behind them — Courtland Sutton at wide receiver and Josey Jewell at linebacker.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport also reports another potential trade to watch for would be cornerback Bradley Roby. According to Rapoport, teams had hoped for Denver to lose Thursday against the Cardinals in order to make a move for the veteran cornerback.
