Analysis: 104.3 The Fan reacts to the Broncos rout of the Cardinals

Oct 18, 2018, 10:34 PM

The Denver Broncos backed up the promise of teammate Von Miller to kick the Arizona Cardinals’ asses on Thursday with a 45-10 drubbing on the road. Here’s how the 104.3 The Fan staff reacted to the Broncos win:

Cecil Lammey (“Pritchard and Cecil”):

The Denver Broncos brought back balance on offense and forced turnovers on defense. That’s the difference between tonight and other games we’ve seen from the Broncos, notably the game against the New York Jets.

Denver took the ball out of Case Keenum’s hands. They didn’t need him to throw a bunch against the Arizona Cardinals because the defense and the ground game were doing the heavy lifting.

Phillip Lindsay did a great job as the team’s leading rusher against the Cardinals. His explosiveness helped move the chains and Arizona found out that he’s more than just a change-of-pace back.

Royce Freeman played with his trademark toughness and helped wear down a humiliated Cardinals defense.

The defense did kick their ass. They made a rookie quarterback, Josh Rosen, look like a rookie quarterback.

Unlike the game against the Jets, Von Miller was getting pressure early and often. He seemed energized on Thursday night, and his attitude was obviously infectious for his teammates.

DMac (“The Drive”):

Von was right!

VJ is safe!

Elway is a genius!

Chiefs should be concerned!

Orlando Franklin and John Davis:

Mike Pritchard (“Pritchard and Cecil”):

The Denver Broncos came out swinging on the road against the Arizona Cardinals and get a much needed victory.

The defense dominated and the offense was explosive on the ground.
