The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Adam Schefter joins the show to ask what the Broncos would gain if they made a move with Vance Joseph. Troy Renck with Denver 7 joins the show to talk about Case Keenum’s time in Denver so far, and to tell Big Al Paxton Lynch didn’t earn any time to fail.
Big Al says it’s moral victory Monday, and DMac says the new goal is to beat the Arizona Cardinals & that is now our Super Bowl. DMac says Emmanuel Sanders is our best player, but he’s a diva, and welcome back Von Miller & Bradley Chubb.
Adam Schefter joins the show to ask what the Broncos would gain if they made a move with Vance Joseph. Schefter finds it discouraging to give up 200 yards rushing in back-to-back weeks, and attendance at Mile High matters. Also, Schefter says he likes Keenum but the Broncos must find their QB of the future. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
In the Big 3, Big Al is ready for the Broncos to make plays in big moments, and says it feels like Joe Woods gets a pass for holding the Rams to 23 points. The guys talk about Emmanuel Sanders getting flagged for taunting, and DMac says Sanders’ diva ways continue.
DMac’s excitement is building for the trip to Arizona, and Big Al says he can’t figure out what’s going on with the defensive line. Also, Big Al is disappointed in the CU Buffs’ performance on the road in California.
DMac points out the way Emmanuel Sanders thinks, and Big Al says we don’t have anyone else like Brandon Stokley to stop him from celebrating his big plays. DMac & Al agree Brandon McManus & Chris Harris Jr. have been our MVPs so far, and we hear audio from Chris Harris running into Wade Phillips after the game, and postgame audio from Sean McVay & the Rams.
Troy Renck with Denver 7 joins the show to talk about Case Keenum’s time in Denver so far, and to tell Big Al Paxton Lynch didn’t earn any time to fail. DMac asks Troy if Josh Rosen would be starting this week over Keenum if the Broncos drafted him, and Troy is almost certain Denver will be drafting a QB in the 2019 NFL Draft. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
Al & DMac make fun of Dick Stockton for calling the Denver Broncos the Denver Nuggets, and Al says when it’s cold it can be tough. Also, Al says it would be dumb to fire VJ & Joe Woods after a loss to the Cardinals.
Big Al says the hardest thing for an outside linebacker to do is get individual numbers, and points out a few plays that didn’t mix well for the Broncos structurally.
The guys point out Garett Bolles’ holding call, and we hear audio from VJ about the Broncos ‘fighting for their lives’ on Thursday. Big Al says Arizona has a better QB than Denver, and DMac is wary of the Broncos’ next game being on the road. Also, Al & DMac notice how well Brock Osweiler played against the Chicago Bears.
The guys talk about Patrick Mahomes being the next Colin Kaepernick, and why the Broncos aren’t giving Chad Kelly a look at QB1 reps. DMac asks Big Al if there’s a chance Kelly sees the field against Arizona.
Al asks DMac who the hottest coordinator in football is right now, and Dmac says Sean McVay, Andy Reid & Josh McDaniels.
