Report: Fear Broncos guard Leary out for year with torn Achilles

An already wavering Denver Broncos offensive line may have lost one of its anchors on Sunday in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Per 9News’ Mike Klis, the fear surrounding a lower-body injury to Broncos guard Ron Leary is that it may be a torn Achilles, which would put the veteran out for the season.
Leary suffered the injury midway through the third quarter as Denver attempted to drive out from within their own 2-yard line.
The injury comes amid another change to the Broncos offensive line, as guard Max Garcia started Sunday over Connor McGovern, who had been the team’s starter through the first five weeks of the season.
After the game, head coach Vance Joseph said the Broncos may need to turn to both McGovern and Garcia at the guard positions depending on the outcome of Leary’s injury.
