The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Denver Post Rockies Beat Writer Patrick Saunders joins the show to talk about the unexpected sweep at the hands of the Brewers, and says we didn’t think it was going to happen like this.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys talk about a players only meeting the broncos had, and hear from Brandon Marshall on CBS 4 talking about the need to turn things around. Bradley Roby was not present at practice yesterday, and DMac asks Al if it was because Roby was sick. Al goes so far as to say Roby should be benched for his play even more than his actions. Also, Vance Joseph asks the team for ideas on how to coach the players better.

In the Big 3, the guys talk about how much money Bradley Roby has lost himself this year, and DeMarcus Ware’s injured finger on DWTS. Also, DMac says of course we have time for Drew Brees and his all-time passing yards record. Al wonders if passing TDs is a bigger mark or milestone than career yards. DMac remembers Peyton Manning breaking the record against the Chiefs, and thinks the way Brees broke it was cooler.

Denver Post Rockies Beat Writer Patrick Saunders joins the show to talk about the unexpected sweep at the hands of the Brewers, and says we didn’t think it was going to happen like this. Also, Oberg’s balk, and the latest with Matt Holliday & Nolan Arenado’s contract situations. Patrick tells the guys Nolan’s heart is still in SoCal. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

In Football @ 4, Big Al says Bradley Roby is uncomfortable when he is not in press coverage, and seems to remember Roby getting burned when he’s giving cushion more than he remembers Roby making big plays.

Big Al tells the story of being upset & getting fined for raising his hand & calling the coach a ‘dumba**’ in a meeting. Al says Darian Stewart & Chris Harris Jr. only know how to play hard, and can’t turn it down because that’s how they made it into the league.

DMac mentions Brock Holt hitting for the cycle last night, and Angel Hernandez getting three calls wrong. The guys discuss unlimited replays & challenges in baseball.

DMac points out the holes in the LA Rams secondary, and says the Seahawks were able to pile up the rushing yards last week against the Rams in Seattle. Big Al quickly goes over his corrections for the Broncos on a ‘correction Tuesday’ including Keenum rushing the ball more.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

The guys talk about the latest with Broncos LB AJ Johnson, and when Johnson might be activated, and Big Al mentions that Denver is built like a 4-3 team. Al says Shane Ray is balling right now, and DMac thinks Ray will want to make the Broncos pay in the future. Also, Big Al asks DMac how he would feel about Derek Carr as Denver’s QB of the future.

DMac says the Broncos are just not that into Chad Kelly, and the only way Kelly sees the field is if Case Keenum gets ‘hurt.’ Big Al looks around for players on IR that could have helped Denver this year. DMac brings up the snow forecast for Sunday in Denver, and Big Al’s ‘small hands theory.’

DMac updates the Avs game against the Blue Jackets, and brings up hockey fans with a chip on their shoulder.
