The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! Kurt Warner with Westwood One joins the show to give a Hall of Fame perspective on the KC Chiefs game against the Broncos tonight. ESPN’s Adam Schefter joins the show to say it’s an exciting day in sports for Colorado, as the Rockies take on the Dodgers & the Denver Broncos kickoff against the KC Chiefs at home.

Big Al is down on the Rockies & Jon Gray, and tells DMac celebration is fine if you clinch a playoff berth. DMac thinks the Rockies will have problems if they have to go on the road.

Kurt Warner with Westwood One joins the show to give a Hall of Fame perspective on the KC Chiefs game against the Broncos tonight. DMac asks Kurt about his connection with St. Louis, and comparisons between this years’ Chiefs offense to the ‘Greatest Show on Turf.’ Kurt says the Chiefs are giving life to what the Rams did in ’99. In the Big 3, Big Al & DMac break down the Earl Thomas injury, and decide if that’s what Thomas gets for betting on himself without a new deal in Seattle. Also, DMac keeps a close eye on the Rockies game as they take on the LA Dodgers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter joins the show to say it’s an exciting day in sports for Colorado, as the Rockies take on the Dodgers & the Denver Broncos kickoff against the KC Chiefs at home. Al & DMac ask Adam about Seahawks S Earl Thomas’ nasty exchange with the Seattle bench, and what LeVeon Bell must be thinking at this point. Also, Adam says the Ravens that just beat the Broncos are about to get better with the additions of J. Smith & H. Hurst. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

Al tells DMac the refs will be better in ‘prime-time’ tonight, and DMac wonders what sort of impact that will have on the Broncos as the Rockies break up a Walker Buehler no-hitter.

It’s all-smiles in LA as DMac tells Big Al this Rockies game is not as important as a playoff game. Big Al says mistakes are giving the Dodgers momentum, and the Broncos should be concerned about their interior pass rush against Patrick Mahomes II. Also, Big Al brings up some question marks on how to rush Mahomes.

DMac tells Big Al Matt Holliday was not ready for the moment today, and gives the listeners a Jeff Bridich perspective on the Rockies. DMac gives an example of GMs doing everything the right way, and Big Al suggests using Gerardo Parra instead of Holliday.

LIVE from the ViewHouse, Big Al & DMac say anything can happen as the Rockies take on the Dodgers & the Broncos get set to take on the Chiefs. Big Al says congratulations to the CU Buffs after they beat the UCLA Bruins & are now ranked in the AP college poll.

The guys check in on the Rockies & Dodgers game, and DMac tells Al he didn’t want to start Marquez on the mound. Big Al wants someone like Bob Gibson, and has Big Sexy play him some Case Keenum highlights to put him in a good mood. Nolan Arenado & Trevor Story hit home runs to give the Rockies a chance, and DMac says this isn’t over.

The Rockies seal their regular season fate as they drop one to the Dodgers & get set for their wild-card game against the Cubs tomorrow night. DMac says it will be tricky going against Lester, but the Rockies are still alive. Also, Big Al defends his take on Patrick Mahomes being unsuccessful in the NFL.

Al & DMac make their picks in the King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘Em. The guys have a chance to win this week if the Broncos beat the Chiefs, and Big Al gives some pointers on what to watch in the MNF game tonight.
