The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO!!! DMac is critical of PacMan Jones & Emmanuel Sanders, and says it’s about football, not their off-the-field issues. Al doesn’t understand Denver’s Keenum doctrine, and DMac is happy about PacMan Jones working out in a desperate situation but still thinks Jones is old & terrible.

Big Al says how about Trevor Story turning it on, and DMac says he knew the Rockies would win. DMac thinks DJ LeMahieu’s walk-off was fantastic & Big Al takes a look at Colorado’s playoff odds. DMac remembers being big DeAngelo Henderson fans, and Big Al checks in on rehab with DMac & John Elway. Also, Big Al struggles with The King Soopers Fan Pick ‘Em again.

Al likes the Rockies’ chances to make the playoffs, and asks Dmac if he enjoyed Week 1 in the NFL & if he’d consider two games for TNF as the Bengals get set to take on the Ravens. DMac says Jalen Ramsey would hit his grandma, and the boys take a look at Hurricane Florence’s effect on sports.

DMac touches on the drama with Khalil Mack & Jon Gruden, and Big Al says every team has standards. Big Al remembers advocating for a trade of Von Miller if he didn’t straighten up years ago.

DMac notes Carlos Henderson’s release from the Bronos’ practice squad, and asks Al how Carlos will be remembered here in Denver. Al notices that Aaron Rodgers’ status is up in the air, and DMac thinks Rodgers is hurt & running on adrenaline & drugs.

DMac starts it up with audio from the Rockies game against the Diamondbacks, and asks Al if he’s loving September baseball with the first-place Colorado Rockies. Al says MLB Network is following the Rockies closely, and DMac wonders if anyone saw what the Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo did.

DMac reviews Lamar Jackson’s number of snaps in the NFL, and complains about his knee. Al has been watching the Raiders, and gives it up for a big win for the buffs.

DMac notes that Kyle Freeland got the win despite a calf issue & cramping, and tells Al PacMan Jones is good on punt return but too old to be Denver’s third corner. DMac brings up PacMan’s checkered past, and wonders at what point Belichick will move on from Tom Brady. Al says he would trade Von Miller for Tom Brady right now.

The guys get into their King Soopers Fan Pick ‘Em, and Big Al breaks down for DMac what to know about Joe Mixon & the Bengals. DMac wants to pick Cincinnati at home, and talks about the brutal AFC North.

The fellas takes some calls on Derek Wolfe and if the Rockies will make the playoffs this season. DMac takes a call from 5 O’Clock Terry.
