The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to talk about the trade value Paxton Lynch currently carries, and some names of backup QBs that could become available if Denver is looking to pick one up.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys review what went down this weekend at Training Camp 2018 & what they’ve each seen from Paxton Lynch & Chad Kelly so far. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joins the show to talk about the trade value Paxton Lynch currently carries, and some names of backup QBs that could become available if Denver is looking to pick one up. Big Al mentions the similar playbooks in Denver & Minnesota, and Schefter throws out QBs with Billy Musgrave connections. Listen to the interview HERE! In the Big 3, the guys talk about players that are on the Broncos’ bubble & if they should simply move on, including names like Jeff Heuerman & Paxton Lynch. Also, Big Al weighs in on Terrell Owens’ Hall of Fame speech. Al & DMac talk about the Broncos’ pick of Courtland Sutton, and Big Al says it wouldn’t shock him today if you told him Sutton was the Broncos’ first-round pick in 2018, and Bradley Chubb was their second-rounder because that’s the way they’ve been playing.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The boys talk about players from the 2018 NFL Draft that the Broncos missed out on, including Nick Chubb & Tremaine Edmunds. DMac explains his ‘auto-draft’ theory, and why it may have landed Denver it’s most successful draft in years. DMac is excited about Chad Kelly after watching him perform in the scrimmage over the weekend, and Big Al says he’ll take the QB that won a bunch of games last year in Case Keenum. Also, Big Al has a big name cornerback for the Broncos to take a look at in former Oakland Raider Sean Smith. The Rockies breathe a sigh of relief after getting the extra-innings win against the Milwaukee Brewers, and DMac has an idea about what Bud Black should do with his unstable bullpen. DMac wants to know what’s next for Royce Freeman, and Big Al says it all comes down to who can protect the quarterback. The boys preview the preseason schedule, and DMac is confused about why the Broncos are traveling to Washington for a pointless preseason game.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Big Al says nobody can match up with Courtland Sutton in 4-WR sets, and DMac explains the trouble with the Broncos’ corners, including Brendan Langley. Also, why the Broncos went back to the power-running game in their scrimmage on Sunday. DMac praises Von Miller’s work ethic, and compares Von’s body type to that of Jared Veldheer. Big Al says good luck blocking all of Denver’s pass rushers, and Derek Wolfe might have trouble seeing the field due to the improved Broncos pass rush. The Rockies need the fans’ help after coming up with a big win yesterday, and DMac looks forward to some Coors Field fireworks tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Also, Big Al wants to get Robert Klemko on the show.
