The Drive with DMac & Chad Brown LIVE IN STUDIO! DMac mentions D Ware & G Kubiak’s influence in the locker room & why Wade Phillips needed to be retained. Kyle Freeland joins the show to say that was a beautiful game of baseball today by the Rockies against the Diamondbacks, and it was a good team win.

The guys laugh at the call of the AJ Pollock out, and celebrate Chad Brown’s birthday. Chad Brown throws down a dunk on social media, and talks about expectations of athletes & family. Also, the struggles of breaking into coaching in the NFL and the Rockies scoring breakout last night, explained. In the Big 3, the guys discuss where to rank Serena Williams among the all-time greats, and DMac says Serena has been great for her sport. DMac asks Chad if a Rockies blowout grabs his attention, and the guys find out the equivalent of the College World Series. DMac recaps the Rockies game so far today, and asks Chad about blowouts in baseball compared to football.

Big Sexy hits the fellas with the stats when it comes to the Broncos 2017-2018 season and how many pathetic blowouts Denver was involved in. Chad talks about pride & heart, and how blowouts fray the culture in the locker room. Also, D Ware & G Kubiak’s influence in the locker room & why Wade Phillips needed to be retained. Chad tells DMac to go with classical music when getting an MRI, and DMac mentions ‘no-duh’ moments for the Broncos. DMac points out that Gary Kubiak dyes his hair and has a high ego, and tells Chad if Kubiak had the chance, he would take over for Vance Joseph. DMac congratulates the Rockies on their big win at home today over the Diamondbacks, and talks about why Oberg got the win instead of Freeland. Chad asks DMac what Gary Kubiak’s role with the Broncos was last year, and DMac mentions Kubiak’s sons living in the area & his scouting role with the team. Chad goes around the division, and lays out the coaching staffs around the AFC West in order of how he thinks they will finish. DMac asks Chad which of the AFC West coaches are most likely to be replaced, and thinks Kyle Shanahan would have been a better fit as Broncos Head Coach. Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland joins the show to say that was a beautiful game of baseball today by the Rockies against the Diamondbacks, and it was a good team win. Freeland tells DMac & Chad it feels good to put up numbers like the Rockies did yesterday, and he enjoys the benefit of having pitchers hitting in the NL. Listen to the interview HERE!

DMac is excited about Brendan Rodgers coming up, and Big Sexy reminds DMac of Tim Tebow’s current stats at the plate, and can’t wait for the Mets to bring him up this season. Also, Dmac weighs in on Papa Johns and the racist comments heard on a conference call. DMac is worried about Chad Bettis’ blister as Bettis is placed on the DL, and is interested to see if Jon Gray is called up before the All-Star break. DMac thinks it’s safe to have Bryan Shaw in the game again, and believes the division is ripe for the taking. DMac mentions Nicki Jhabvala’s article in The Athletic about NFL teams tracking players’ study habits via iPad, and thinks all coaches track it just like John Fox and less like Bill Musgrave. Also, DMac mentions Case Keenum’s response when asked about using virtual reality with his study habits.
