The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE IN STUDIO! DMac takes a look at the Broncos’ backfield rank, and why there’s no mention of Phillip Lindsay. Al says it will be great when Denver gets around to using Royce Freeman, and thinks of 3rd-down backs that have made an impact for the Broncos.
DMac makes fun of Drake, and the guys put together a playlist for 104.3 The Fan. Big Al is excited for the CU Buffs matchup this year against Grambling State, and remembers the good times in New Orleans. Al talks about the World Cup, and his favorite Neymar Jr. moments from today, including all the internet MEMEs. DMac remembers Ronda Rousey’s time in the UFC, and finds out from Big Al if Denver Nuggets fans would accept Carmelo Anthony back with open arms. Tiger Woods & Phil Mickelson are in negotiations on a $10 million duel for cash, and DMac says it looks awesome on the surface. DMac asks Big Al if people would flock to see it, and if Tiger & Phil are still appointment golf.
DMac takes a look at the Broncos’ backfield rank, and why there’s no mention of Phillip Lindsay. Al says it will be great when Denver gets around to using Royce Freeman, and thinks of 3rd-down backs that have made an impact for the Broncos. DMac asks Al if there are any backs in the NFL like LeVeon Bell, and the guys agree there is no time to waste when it comes to getting Royce Freeman involved in the Broncos offense. DMac asks Big Al if we could use Jamaal Charles this year, and tries to explain why there’s no need for Andy Janovich now that Denver no longer has a HOF QB behind center. DMac defends Carmelo Anthony again, and promises Al that he will stand up & cheer if Melo returns to Denver. Big Al gives DMac a reality check about superstars that have moved on from their longtime franchises.
DMac takes some calls on Melo coming back to Denver, and if it would be a good idea or not. The callers are excited for the Nuggets future without Melo, and give DMac some reasons why Melo is a bad apple now. Also, Big Al lays out the players he’s excited to see play in Denver for 2018. DMac trolls Josh Rosen’s HOF speech, and tells Al the Broncos should trade Shane Ray for Teddy Bridgewater because Case Keenum is guaranteed to get injured during the season. Also, Big Al has Leon Johnson in mind as his favorite Tackle on the Broncos. Big Al mentions his favorite moments from 2018 so far, and DMac points out how Vance Joseph was able to keep his job. The guys talk about the bitter NFL draft, and why there are arguments against Denver drafting Bradley Chubb. Also, DMac is still optimistic about the Rockies heading into the All-Star break.
