Chubb’s representative Erik Burkhardt also tweeted out a congratulatory message to the Broncos top pick, saying, “Good things happen to good people.”
With Chubb’s deal, the Broncos have wrapped up nine of its 10-man draft class, with third-round draft pick Royce Freeman the only rookie left unsigned.
Along with Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen, Chubb is just the third player drafted in the top 10 in this year’s draft to sign with his respective team.
