The Drive with Big Al & Chad Brown LIVE IN STUDIO! Denver 7 Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk about what Bud Black does next, and Al asks Troy what’s going on with Wade Davis. Troy says Davis lost his release point, and simply didn’t have it when the ball started slipping.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Al & Chad talk about the Colorado Rockies, and how they can get things back on track against the Mets. Al pinpoints all of Colorado’s problems at home, and asks Chad if there’s an easy fix for the Rockies’ bullpen. The guys are taken aback by the hail in the local area, and remind everyone to stay safe. Also, Al & Chad remember their favorite locker rooms during their playing careers. In the Big 3, Al & Chad make fun of the Ball family going after the cash grab instead of making it in the NBA. Chad tells Al this is as disappointing as it gets for the Ball family. Chad asks Al if he will be checking out the ESPN: The Magazine body issue and Al can’t believe the rise of the Puma basketball shoe. Chad thinks the Rockies are going to find a way to change things up & put the pressure on the rest of their division. Al points out the latest Super Bowl to Chad as an example of trying to do too much, and says the Broncos & Rockies should avoid the trap New England fell into on that fateful Sunday.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The guys talk about the NBA Draft & the expectations that are being set for young Luka Doncic. Chad remembers Feddy Adu, and wonders if there is too much pressure on young players these days. Also, Al wonders if there will ever be an athlete like LeBron James in the NFL, Nick Saban & Alabama start recruiting 8th graders & if there is a magic number for young athletes. Al & Chad discuss Aaron Rodgers being the rising tide that lifts all boats, and if he is comparable to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Chad doesn’t think everyone loves Rodgers like they do Brady, and the guys agree teams can get to a Super Bowl in a variety of ways. Al asks Chad about the NFLPA and what to do about franchise tags & free agents. Al likes year-to-year deals better than long-term ones, and says Kirk Cousins has figured it out. Denver 7 Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk about what Bud Black does next, and Al asks Troy what’s going on with Wade Davis. Troy says Davis lost his release point, and simply didn’t have it when the ball started slipping. Troy says Davis hasn’t struggled like that in a long time, and Chad asks Troy if the Rockies’ locker room can recover. Also, Big Al asks Troy if there are any Broncos players under the radar as athletes try to stay out of trouble this offseason, and if there is anyone under more pressure than Case Keenum. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

The guys talk about ‘living contracts’ that fluctuate with the salary cap. Chad says Aaron Donald’s new contract will break the bank, and Al discusses Aaron Rodgers & Khalil Mack’s upcoming deals. Al asks Chad how long it takes to crack a defense, and points out that Case Keenum might simply be here to help bring along Paxton Lynch. Big Al asks Chad about Marcus Mariota, and if he has what it takes to make the next step in the RPO system. Al & Chad talk Buffs, and what it feels like getting old. Also, Al laughs about Charles Barkley’s appearance on Celebrity Family Feud.
