LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Big Al tells DMac LeBron James needs another true All-Star to help him out. DMac agrees landing Paul George will be huge for a team this offseason, and Big Al talks about the self-inflicted wound to LeBron’s hand. Also, Big Al points out Steph Curry has yet to win Finals MVP, and Steve Kerr is morphing into Phil Jackson. DMac tries to figure out why the Warriors would want to get rid of Klay Thompson, even if it means landing LeBron, and Al asks why any team wouldn’t want ‘The King.’ Also, Big Al says the story of the 2018 Rockies is not yet written, and he expects them to make a run in the division. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, we hear the call from Justify winning the Triple Crown after dominating the Belmont Stakes, and the boys talk about championship celebrations from Swaggy P & Alex Ovechkin. DMac says the hard part is winning it, and Big Al says it’s all about having fun. Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post joins the show to talk about the Colorado Rockies’ woes at home & how they can right the ship despite a bullpen with holes all over. Patrick points out the positives for Colorado, including their ability to get the job done on the road, as they gear up for their series at Philly beginning tomorrow. Listen to the interview HERE!!!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

In Football @ 4:00, DMac brings up the idea of starting Jeff Heuerman at Tight End to begin the Denver Broncos’ season, and Big Al expects Heuerman to keep the starting job for only a couple weeks. DMac points out that Gary Kubiak’s impact on the team will be massive in 2018, and Al defines Kubiak’s role with the team moving forward. Also, the guys debate if Kubiak is training to eventually be the team’s General Manager. DMac talks about Nicki Jhabvala’s recent article in The Athletic about Beth Bowlen & the new details on her employment with the Denver Broncos. Al finds out from DMac what the issue is with Beth, and why it should matter to us if we don’t have a vote in it. DMac starts to think the best thing for the team is simply selling the team. The guys talk about the drama between LeBron James & Dan Gilbert, and Big Al pulls up the numbers Cleveland draws with & without LeBron. Al mentions all the sellouts LeBron brings, and why it will be a long time before Cleveland finds another athlete like James. Troy Renck of Denver7 joins the show to talk about the Broncos’ upcoming mandatory minicamp starting on Tuesday, and who he is looking for to stand out in the first week of drills. Troy talks about why there is still reason to believe in Paxton Lynch, and lists the reasons why John Elway believes in Case Keenum. Also, Troy goes over the ‘truths’ about the Broncos, including doing everything to get Bradley Chubb on the field & keeping an open competition at the RB position. Listen to the interview HERE!!!
