The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! DMac looks for a new ‘Secretary of Sport’ and Big Sexy & Al suggest The Rock & David Robinson. We hear from Andy Janovich at Broncos OTAs, and DMac points out the importance of getting your coaches name right. Garett Bolles talks about his weight at Broncos OTAs, and he says his body feels good & he’s ready for the season to begin.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys talk about the Eagles not going to the White House, and DMac comes up with a plan for the White House to have a ‘Secretary of Sports’ for the athletes to meet so they don’t have to meet the President & he can focus on other things. Big Al mentions the difference between now & past years, and says things are not currently ideal. DMac admits his mind is boggled, and gets Al’s opinion on Shane Ray’s wrist news. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Big Al asks DMac if he got to see LeBron’s reaction to Tyronn Lue not calling a timeout in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and DMac tips his cap to Aaron Judge striking out eight times in one day. Al is anxious to see Gronk all over again in 2018, and what happens with Gronk’s new contract. The guys talk about the Houston Texans cheerleaders, and if there should be a new standard with how cheerleaders & players should be treated. Al & DMac are ready to do away with old traditions in order to respect the game, its players & cheer squads a little more.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

Al says Bolles must get ready to be run over at the weight he’s playing at, and DMac is astonished to hear Bolles admit he didn’t know how to play tackle in the NFL. Big Al makes a case for Royce Freeman, and is desperate to find a RB that can average four yards per carry behind this Broncos offensive line. Al asks DMac if Kareem Hunt saw too much action last year, and points out the advantages in having Le’Veon Bell. The guys talk Special Teams, and argue over what a modern-day RB should look like. Al searches for a RB that can execute the coaches play call, and DMac says Denver is setting up the same formula that won them Super Bowl 50.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Al is in shock that Shane Ray’s wrist injury is still an issue, and emphasizes that it can be practice for the team doctors as well. The guys compare Ray’s injury issues with Terrell Davis & Bo Jackson, and Big Al notes why this injury upsets him the most. Also, DMac brings up the insane story of Kyler Murray, Al says Murray needs to find a new financial advisor, and DMac reads a shocking tweet that was later deleted by Colorado Rockies draft pick Ryan Rolison. Al explains the difference in Ryan Rolison & Joe Mixon, and DMac finds out if the Rockies knew about this tweet, and drafted Rolison anyway. Al & DMac debate if things slip through the cracks when teams are doing research, and if being ‘from the south’ plays into how players look at things. The guys wrap up the show with audio from Ryan Rolison’s conference call after he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies, along with audio from Jeff Bridich.
