The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Big Al tells DMac he likes the direction the Broncos are going in, and he’s prepared for the right decision to take some time. DMac asks Al what the difference is between being a millionaire & a billionaire, and what’s best for Denver concerning the Bowlen trust.
Al & DMac put an end to the Bowlen trust conversation for now, and Al makes sure DMac is being a good teammate & not trying to advance Beth Bowlen’s agenda. The guys talk about Game 1 of the NBA Finals and the refs’ decision to change their call near the end of the game after review of LeBron James trying to take a charge. In the Big 3, the guys continue their conversation about the NBA Finals and give their opinions on Steph Curry & LeBron James’ pressers. Also, Big Al talks about Cleveland’s surprise pick of Baker Mayfield, and how Denver got lucky with Bradley Chubb due to Cleveland’s choices. DMac finds out from Al who the Broncos’ three-down lineman are along the defensive front, and Al explains how defensive players feel when the offense is not performing well. Derek Wolfe and Shelby Harris’ futures are deliberated.
Al & DMac hear audio from Bill Musgrave, and decide what Gary Kubiak’s new role with the team will be & how much influence Kubiak will have on Musgrave’s decisions. Also, news about David Dahl breaking his foot & preparing to hit the DL for 6 to 8 weeks. The fellas break down the Broncos new-look Special Teams, and how Denver can continue to produce on the punt team with effort. We hear audio from new Special Teams Coach Tom McMahon. Al tells DMac about the athletes he would pay to go see, including Barry Sanders & Derrick Thomas. DMac gives Doug Flutie & Jeremy Bloom some props, and ultimately picks Jim Kelly as his favorite athlete. The guys round out their favorite athletes of all-time in their respective sports, including John Daly & Chi-Chi Rodriguez as their favorite golfers.

Al voices his frustrations with the refs using review to change the call in last night’s NBA Finals when LeBron was called for a block after Kevin Durant was initially called for a charge.
