The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Troy Renck of Denver 7 joins the show to talk about the dangers of social media, and how it can be a slippery slope for young players.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys talk about DeMarcus Ware coming back as a consultant in Denver, and Big Al says be careful bringing in Ware as a pass-rush specialist due to his abilities as a player being unmatched. Al says some Broncos felt hopeless last season, and gives DMac some insight on what life is like once you’re finished playing football. Also, DMac has a story for Al regarding PlayerLync, modern learning software for the mobile workforce. DMac says he knew it was only a matter of time before the Rockies turned things around at the plate, and is ecstatic about Colorado remaining in first place in their division despite their struggles. Big Al thinks things feel different with Kubiak around Dove Valley once more, and the guys are floored by the Bryan Colangelo story. DMac laughs about Tom Brady throwing footballs off yachts instead of being at OTAs, and thinks Von Miller might be a bit jealous. DMac wonders if New England is still a desired destination for athletes, and Big Al is sad about Drew Brees not coming to Denver.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

We hear from Broncos DT Zach Kerr on why he hasn’t eaten fast food in seven years, and Big Al marvels at the modern diet of today’s NFL athletes. Al & DMac talk about DeMarcus Ware’s impact on the Broncos line, and how Bill Kollar can help the defense along. We hear from Shelby Harris on how DeMarcus Ware can help each individual on the Broncos D-Line, and DMac asks Al what he would tell the players if he was a Broncos coach. Also, Al gives DMac his ‘Roseanne’ review. Troy Renck of Denver 7 joins the show to talk about the dangers of social media, and how it can be a slippery slope for young players. Big Al tells Troy it feels like there has been an organization reset in Denver with all these new coaches, and Troy points to multiple factors as reasons for Denver’s poor season last year. DMac thinks Kubiak is serving as Vance Joseph’s mentor, and Troy says VJ could use an ally like Kubiak as he tries to avoid another losing season. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

DMac brings up the Rockies cruising to the finish, and says things are cool at Coors Field right now, and Al agrees, saying there’s just nothing like a home win. DMac asks Al if the Rockies have a ‘magic pill’ when it comes playoff time & if they have a three-man lights-out bullpen they can rely on consistently. Also, the guys are pumped for the pregame leading up to Caps vs Golden Knights: Game 2. Callers thank the boys for talking hockey, and rip DMac for his Ovechkin love. Also, callers ask what will happen next with Denver’s core of running backs. Big Al wants a power back in Denver, and DMac wants a back that’s capable of running away from the defense. Also, DMac finds out from Al what took DeAngelo Henderson so long to see the field in 2017.
