Pritchard & Cecil – 05/24/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Thursday’s show the guys talk about if the Broncos roster has enough balance this year so far, react to some comments made by Derek Wolfe and others at Dove Valley and veterans that could be in on the bubble later this summer in camp.
Hour one Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos overall roster heading into the 2018 season. Cecil talks about bringing balance to the Broncos in his Fresh Take. How is this done, and have the Broncos done it? Also reaction from Derek Wolfe and Domata Peko. What do they think of this latest Bronco draft class? Pritchard & Cecil look at the Broncos roster overall and give their thoughts on if it’s balanced enough on both offense and defense. Also, the competition is on! Mike Pritchard says no one should be comfortable. What player is he expecting to see his best yet this season? The guys go through players from last season that will need to have a good showing early on in the league year.
Also, Derek Wolfe had some great things to say about Case Keenum. What does he bring to the table to bring confidence to the Broncos team? Is there finally going to be a break for the defense and they won’t have to carry this team? The guys break that down.
Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about the NFL Draft in 2019 being awarded to Nashville, Tennessee. The guys talk about the NFL Draft at least in the short term not coming to Denver, Colorado. The guys break down if the draft could come here and if Colorado would have a venue that would be able to hold a lot of people for the draft. The guys give their thoughts on if the draft could come here to Colorado. Pritchard & Cecil break that down and break down the list of possible venues for the draft if Denver were to be chosen for the 2020 NFL Draft or beyond. Then the guys jump into the Broncos offense with Case Keenum under center this season. The fellas weigh in on what exactly Keenum brings to the offense and how far this Broncos offense can go.
Plus, the guys react to some comments made by Broncos defensive lineman Domata Peko yesterday about new Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb and some other new rookies. The fellas break down why some of the veterans are already seeing the impact of the new draft class this season.

The guys talk about a number of guys including Jordan Taylor and where his roster spot sits right now with the Broncos drafting two wide receivers in the draft this year. Mike Pritchard explains what it will take for some of these veteran players that are on the bubble to make the roster this season after the Broncos drafted a good stable of players. The guys also jump back into a conversation about overall balance on the Broncos roster this year heading into the season. The fellas also look at how the Broncos coaching staff now has more pieces to work with early on in OTAs.
