The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Al & DMac talk about the vote by NFL CEOs on the National Anthem protests, and if individual owners will enforce discipline. DMac reads the statement by the NFLPA, and Big Al wonders what Brandon Marshall will do.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Al & DMac talk about the vote by NFL CEOs on the National Anthem protests, and if individual owners will enforce discipline. DMac reads the statement by the NFLPA, and Big Al wonders what Brandon Marshall will do. We hear from Domata Peko on the anthem rules change, and the guys talk about Richie Incognito at the gym. Also, injuries in OTAs and Al asks DMac if the NBA playoffs have been compelling. We hear from Matt Paradis on the anthem protests, and Big Al says we need to take things like this seriously. Al remembers Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, and we take calls on standing up for the troops.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac goes over the new rules for the National Anthem in 2018 & what the players can no longer do. Big Al wants to narrow the rule down to requiring players to stay in the locker room during the anthem. Also, Big Al wants to know the difference in standing for the anthem before an NFL game & standing for the anthem before a movie at the theater. DMac says the NFL is putting it all on the players, and Al is looking for a unified approach to the gameday experience. DMac tells Al why his idea of requiring all the players to go out & stand for the anthem would be a failure, and why requiring them to stay in the locker room would fail also. Also, Al says the NFL will show the players better than they tell them. Al & DMac take some calls on protesting the anthem, and Al wants to find a policy that works.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

We hear from Derek Wolfe on the National Anthem protests, and DMac previews Brandon Marshall’s presser & what he will possibly say tomorrow about the protests. Al has high hopes for Virgil Green now that Hunter Henry has gone down with a knee injury in Los Angeles. Big Al wonders what will happen with Reuben Foster, and if the drug policy in college football will change. Also, DMac tells Big Al what’s so great about CU Boulder. The guys decide if Danica Patrick will be a good ESPYS host, and Big Al explains how Gary Kubiak can help the Broncos’ position coaches.
