The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Al expects Denver to keep six WRs this year in preparation for moving on from DT & Emmanuel, and Chubbaholics hope Rosen doesn’t slip on a gold jacket.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

DMac is intrigued by the idea of the NFL expanding their season to 18 games, and the guys run through the changes that would come along with the added games. Also, the NCAA is considering changing their one-and-done rule to allow some players go straight to the NBA or the G-League. The Adam Gotsis situation remains in limbo, and DMac is interested to see what’s going to happen. Big Al says we should just stay away from the entire Gotsis situation. Also, DMac finds out if Big Al will be watching the Royal Wedding this weekend, and if he thinks T.O. can make a comeback in the NFL. DMac asks Al about the Rockies game, and we hear audio from Terrell Owens setting the world on fire about the ‘mind-boggling’ Jason Garrett keeping his job too long.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac asks Al about the Broncos ‘return on investment’ on their best players, and if Denver got good value on their draft picks & free-agent acquisitions. DMac & Al agree the ROI on quarterbacks is better than any other position, and DMac says QBs are always worth going after compared to pass-rushers like Chubb. Al decides if the return on investment is higher for Bradley Chubb than it would have been on a combo of Vita Vea & Will Hernandez would be. Also, Al expects Denver to keep six WRs this year in preparation for moving on from DT & Emmanuel, and Chubbaholics hope Rosen doesn’t slip on a gold jacket. Al says nobody profiled like Andrew Luck since Elway, and DMac wants to know why the Colts gave up on Peyton Manning. Al is not okay with the Broncos passing on Rosen, and the guys decide if a 9-7 record is enough for Denver to win the division. Big Al says no matter what happens with Bradley Chubb, it’s a disappointment in Denver if Josh Rosen puts on a gold jacket someday. We hear from Rex Ryan saying there’s just something ‘hard to like’ about Josh Rosen.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

The guys talk about the Broncos Ring of Fame and who should get in next. Names mentioned include Mike Shanahan, Trevor Pryce, Ed McCaffrey, Champ Bailey and Alfred Williams himself. Also, DMac finds out from Al who the first coach let go in Denver will be if things go badly. Al wonders about co-ed and pickup games for retired athletes, and amateur football compared to professional. DMac talks about the amount of preparation poured into being good at baseball, and Big Al says baseball is best in the middle of the summer with nothing else going on.
