May 18, 2018, 12:23 PM

Pritchard & Cecil – 05/18/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Friday’s show the guys talk about OTA’s beginning next week for the Broncos, which quarterback in the AFC West has the most offensive pieces to work with going into the season, who should be Case Keenum’s favorite target this season in 2018 and why the Broncos can surprise some people in the AFC West this year.

Listen to hour one here!

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil start out the show with Cecil giving his Fresh Take for today. Cecil goes after Mike Evans on a Friday in his Fresh Take. No one knows Case Keenum better than the Broncos staff. Mike is of firm belief it is the Vikings. Cecil sets it straight, and That’s Fresh. Also, Mike Pritchard digs into football analyst Danny Kanell. Pritch gets fired up and gets into some of the newest Broncos receivers that they drafted this year. Mike Pritchard explains why at least at first the Broncos need to scale the playbook back in order to help their young wide receivers. Cecil Lammey agrees and talks about why that helps the young receivers get their footing underneath them a little before fully letting them into the offense. The guys break that down and then turn their attention to the defensive side of the ball. Pritchard & Cecil get into that and much more in the first hour of the show.

Plus, what can we expect from the duo of Von Miller and Bradley Chubb? An ESPN analyst expects major let down. Why is this? Do Pritch & Cecil agree? The guys go through what we can expect from the first year pass rusher along side the Super Bowl MVP pass rusher. Pritchard & Cecil also break down how this pass rushing duo will impact the rest of the Broncos defense in 2018.

Listen to hour two here!

Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about how important OTA’s will be for certain Broncos these upcoming weeks at Dove Valley. The guys look at Broncos that need to get off to good starts to the season by showing a little something in OTA’s. Pritchard & Cecil weigh in on why they think even for veterans they need to show something this upcoming weeks in OTA’s. Which veteran do the guys think needs to show something this next week in OTA’s? Find out that and much more as the off-season continues for the Broncos. The guys also get into the Broncos tight end position and if Jeff Heuerman can carve out a decent role for himself in this Broncos offense, even if fellow tight end Jake Butt will be back in action this season for Denver. Mike Pritchard explains how he sees this tight end battle in training camp shaping up for the Denver Broncos. Cecil Lammey also gives some thoughts on that as well and how the tight end position could play a prominent role in helping the Broncos turn around their offense this season.

Also, the guys talk about which quarterback within the AFC West has the most pieces around him to work with. The guys look at Case Keenum with the Broncos and how many offensive pieces he has to work with right now. The fellas explain why not only does Keenum have the remaining offensive pieces from last season but he also now has Jake Butt coming back along with the new Broncos that were drafted this year. Pritchard & Cecil also look at the rest of the AFC West teams and who they have on their roster.

Listen to hour three here!

Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about some comments made by Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn on the AFC West and who he sees as the leaders of the division. Lynn failed to mention the Broncos in his comments? Was he right in leaving the Broncos out of the conversation in the AFC West? Or should Lynn have put the Broncos atop the list of possible contenders in the AFC West? The guys discuss that and look at why and how this Broncos team improved this off-season. Mike Pritchard further goes onto explain why the Broncos have a chance to prove everyone wrong in the NFL but that the team needs to believe in itself in order to do that. The Guys break that down and then weigh in on how Case Keenum is picking up the Broncos offense so far. The guys go into what they have been hearing and who on this Broncos offense should be Case Keenum’s best friend in 2018. The guys kick that around a little before getting into some other Broncos topics as OTA’s begin next week for the Broncos.

For the rest of hour three the guys talk about which Broncos players could be the comeback player of the year for the team. The guys go through how Shane Ray could fit into that role and have a major rebound season for the Denver Broncos. The guys get into that and some other news and notes from around the NFL going on today. The guys break that down and much more!
