May 17, 2018, 12:20 PM

Pritchard & Cecil – 05/17/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Thursday’s show the guys talk about the Broncos offense under Bill Musgrave this season, what to expect from some of the newest Broncos this season and the Broncos not inducting anyone into their Ring of Fame this year.

Listen to hour one here!

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil get into and revisit some new draft grades for the Broncos. Mel kipper regraded his draft grade for the Broncos this week. Cecil talks about this and  Kipper in his Fresh Take and why he doesn’t agree with what Mel Kipper had to say about the Broncos draft class this year. The guys then go onto talk about the Broncos quarterback position, first talking about the teams backup quarterback position. Pritch has some strong words for Paxton Lynch and why the Broncos just need to move on. It hasn’t worked and it won’t work explains Mike Pritchard as he goes into why Chad Kelly should be the front runner at least right now to be the teams backup quarterback. Also, the national media is still showing no respect for Broncos starter Case Keenum. One guy has him throwing over 4,000 yards and the Broncos still have a losing season. Why is this? Is it because he only had one good year? People just need to see more? The guys debate that!

Plus, how can Bradley Chubb impact this team and defense in 2018? Are we talking double digit sacks? He is in a great situation when it comes to rookies? Pritchard & Cecil talk about Chubb’s rookie year and what to expect from the rookie in his first season.

Listen to hour two here!

Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos offensive scheme last year and some of the play calling that was chosen by now former Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. The guys get into how McCoy’s play calling and choice of scheme in some guys didn’t help the Broncos offensive woes. Mike Pritchard explains why the Broncos play calling was because of some of the teams weaknesses on offense last year but that it didn’t seem to help the team. The fellas then break down how Bill Musgrave will look to attack things a little different this year with his play calling and scheme. The guys also break down how some of the Broncos draft class from last year and from this year will help what the Broncos are trying to do on offense in the 2018 season.

Also, some news has come out today first reported by Mike Klis of 9News that no one will be inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame this year. The guys talk about if anyone should have went in this season and who they would have choose to go into the Ring of Fame. Pritchard & Cecil also look to the future and talk about who should be next in line the next few years to possibly go into the Ring of Fame. The guys talk about that as well as get into some other thoughts on the Broncos as whole going into this year.

Listen to hour three here!

Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about some of of the rookie contracts this year for the Broncos. The guys get into rookie contracts in the NFL now and also what some guys build into their contracts. The fellas also look at which Broncos rookies they could see making big money down the line once their rookie deals expire a handful of years from now. The guys break down rookies that decide to holdout as well as Mike Pritchard gives one of his own personal stories of holding out for a contract. Plus, Pritchard & Cecil break down who everyone is picking to make the Super Bowl this year. The guys get into where everyone sees the Broncos finishing right now this season and if everyone’s view of the Broncos can change this year if they show some good performances in training camp and going into the regular season. The guys talk about how the Broncos new draft class might play into how they are viewed and how they perform this season.

For the rest of the final hour of the show the guys talk about some other stories from around the league and some other Broncos topics as well as the off-season rolls on. Pritchard & Cecil also explain how they really want to see Broncos quarterback Case Keenum really prove all of the doubters wrong. That and much more with Pritchard & Cecil!
