Apr 20, 2018, 12:19 PM

Pritchard & Cecil – 04/20/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Friday’s show the guys talk about John Elway’s press conference yesterday, if the Broncos should move down in the draft and if some of last years draft class can help the Broncos a year after they were drafted.

Listen to hour one here!

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil react to some of what Broncos GM John Elway had to say yesterday at his pre-draft press conference. Cecil thinks John Elway played the media at his latest press conference. What did Elway say that made everyone freak out? Pritchard & Cecil break that down and get into some other thoughts on what stood out to them the most at Elway’s press conference. Also, Pritchard & Cecil go through the quarterbacks, are any of them worth a pick at number five overall for the Broncos? The fellas break down the top quarterbacks in the draft and which ones might be standouts in the pros.

Plus, we are getting closer to the draft on Thursday this next week. This is John Elway’s most important draft, but Pritch says the number five pick is not the most important for him to hit. Which pick is it? Is there a player that makes sense for the Broncos? The guys break that down and much more!

Listen to hour two here!

Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about what role they fell Gary Kubiak has had this year when the Broncos have been preparing for the draft. The guys listen in as Broncos GM John Elway also commented on this exact topic yesterday in his pre-draft press conference at Dove Valley. The guys break down their thoughts on how much influence Kubiak will have on who the Broncos take at number five overall in the draft this year. The fellas break that down and also get into some first round draft strategy for the Broncos. Mike Pritchard explains why the Broncos shouldn’t move down in this draft because at number five overall you’re guaranteed a player that can help you right away in 2018.

Also, the guys talk about first round prospect Bradley Chubb as well and if he would make sense for the Broncos in the first round. The guys get into what Chubb would bring to the Broncos and if having two great pass rushers in 2018 would improve the team greatly.

Listen to hour three here!

Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about what to look for in a quarterback that makes that player successful. The guys look at traits to look for in a successful NFL quarterback. The fellas then apply that criteria to this years quarterback class coming out in the 2018 draft this year. The guys break that down and much more related to the quarterback position. Pritchard & Cecil then jump into some discussion about last years draft class for the Broncos and players that didn’t play in 2018. The fellas break down if Carlos Henderson and Jake Butt can add anything to the Broncos this season. The guys talk about if those players impact how the Broncos approach the draft this season.

For the rest of the final hour of the show Pritchard & Cecil run through some news and notes from around the NFL heading into draft week this next week. The guys talk about that and much more!
