The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! The Preds pulled Pekka Rinne last night, and Al tries to figure out how rare the Avs hot starts have been. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to say he likes that Case Keenum is authentic, and it must be organic if it’s going to work out for Keenum here in Denver.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Big Al says anything is possible in a hockey game, and Jonathan Bernier was fabulous early in the game against the Predators last night. The Preds pulled Pekka Rinne last night, and Al tries to figure out how rare the Avs hot starts have been. Also, the mysterious case of Predators fans throwing fish on the ice. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, DMac asks Al who would trade with the Cleveland Browns when the NFL Draft rolls around, and Al decides if the Bills would ever trade Shady McCoy to move up in the draft. Also, we hear Von Miller’s response to DMac’s question at his presser today, and Von explains why he was ‘shocked’ by the reaction he got for catching a shark in Florida. The guys talk about the Colorado Rockies recent play, and if they are satisfied with the Rockies’ current lineup. Also, just how strong Bryce Harper has to be to break his bat and still hit a home run.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The boys decide if Baker Mayfield is a smoke-screen, and try to pinpoint whether there are two or three QBs Denver has their eye on at the top of the draft this year. Big Al unveils his Baker Mayfield smoke-screen, and says Mayfield simply does not fit the Broncos’ profile. Al is not sure what teams would want Baker Mayfield, and DMac throws out Miami as a landing spot option for Baker. Big Al runs through his Big Board of TEs set to enter the 2018 NFL Draft, and talks about the things you will hear about each of his favorite prospects on draft day. Names on Big Al’s board include Mike Gesicki of Penn St and Hayden Hurst of South Carolina. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to say he likes that Case Keenum is authentic, and it must be organic if it’s going to work out for Keenum here in Denver. Troy says Keenum is a rare example of an old QB that just keeps getting better, and starts to wonder if Keenum can fill a role in Denver similar to Rich Gannon in Oakland. Also, Troy decides if the Broncos have interest in Bradley Chubb or Denzel Ward. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

The guys talk about the Avs game, and Catfish Jake throwing a fish out onto the ice during the game. DMac is not a fan of Catfish Jake, and Big Al fears DMac is simply getting old. The Seattle Seahawks are forced to cut Malik McDowell after his accident a few years ago cost him a chance at being cleared medically by the Seahawks staff, and the guys decide if skiing or ATV motor vehicles should be avoided by athletes. Also, DMac has an announcement about Chad Kelly. DMac says congrats to the Avalanche, and notes Baker Mayfield being in town is not a smoke-screen. Big Al says the Broncos giving Baker a look doesn’t mean they are interested in him, and is conscious of Vita Vea as a real prospect in Denver.
