LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

CJ Anderson joins the show to say his time in Denver is up, and getting cut will only allow him to play his best football somewhere else. CJ touches on loyalty in the NFL and why some consider it a day-to-day league. Big Al asks CJ about the frustrations of last season, and CJ points out the advantages of putting your head down & grinding. CJ says the grind never stops & he’s thankful for the opportunity to play in Denver after they took a chance on him when he was undrafted. Also, CJ mentions the call he got from John Elway thanking him for his time & effort in Denver, and addresses the mutual respect between him & Elway that still remains. Listen to the interview HERE! DMac talks about the Colorado Avalanche game, and Patrick Reed wearing his green jacket everywhere he goes, and Big Al says Reed wearing his jacket like that reminds him of Pat Bowlen wearing his jacket in a similar fashion. Also, Tom Brady wasn’t there for OTAs, and Big Al wonders if there’s anything under the surface in New England, considering this is the first time Brady hasn’t been there for Day 1 of OTAs. The guys debate where CJ Anderson will end up, including New England, and agree nothing would surprise them at this point. Clinton Portis is brought up as a good comparison for CJ’s numbers in Denver, and DMac & Al decide if CJ could be a candidate for the Broncos Ring of Fame.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac reminds Big Al of the ‘Baker Challenge’ and why it’s a knock on overcoming real adversity. Big Al tells DMac he’s told him over and over again about Baker Mayfield’s attitude & motivation. DMac decides he is the shortest person at the station, and says Baker Mayfield is still his guy even though Baker drives him nuts. DMac says Brandon Marshall faces the same fate as CJ Anderson, and the guys notice that Denver has been looking at a lot of rookie LBs lately. The guys break down Big Al’s Big Board on the Top-10 WRs in the NFL Draft for 2018. DMac asks Big Al if the Biletnikoff Award means anything, and we find out where Michael Gallup lands on Big Al’s board. DMac tells Big Al what player he missed on his Big Board, and talks about all the plays this WR, Anthony Miller, made for Paxton Lynch in college. Also, why Emmanuel Sanders isn’t considered a No. 1 receiver & which WR profiles like Julio Jones.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

DMac challenges Baker Mayfield to try to outrun the cops in Denver, and the guys decide who the Broncos will draft at No. 5 if they don’t trade down. Big Al says it matters what the other teams are looking at, and the Broncos must decide if the Raiders or another team are interested in Vita Vea or another player Denver wants. Also, draft scenarios and who Big Al truly wants as a playmaker in Denver for years to come. We hear from CJ Anderson after he was cut by the Broncos, and CJ tells Al & DMac the importance of putting his head down & continuing to grind. DMac finds out if Big Al is encouraged heading into the Colorado Avalanche’s first home playoff game since four years ago against the Wild, and Al says that loss was extremely emotional. Big Sexy is worried about the Avs health, and DMac tries to decide when the Avs are going to get two wins in a row against a dangerous Nashville squad. The boys take calls on the Avs game and if there are any believers out there in the Avalanche. Callers note that Colorado could have won one of their first two games, and DMac calls them excuses.
