Pritchard & Cecil – 04/12/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Thursday’s show the guys talk about how the Broncos have handled the Matt Paradis & Shaquil Barrett situations, the future for running back C.J. Anderson with the Broncos and the Broncos preseason schedule opening up against the Minnesota Vikings.
Hour one Pritchard & Cecil start out the show talking about a Sports Illustrated report from Albert Breer. As a part of Cecil’s fresh take he talks about the report and why everyone should consider something when seeing this news. Just what does Breer mean with this report? The guys break that down as well as start to get into some of the latest mock drafts of the day. The guys also look at some of the players still available in free agency including wide receiver Eric Decker. Another player has come out and said he wants Eric Decker back in Denver. Is Decker the right fit at this point in his career for the Denver Broncos? Pritchard & Cecil break down if they feel Decker is a fit and what he would bring to the Broncos if he was brought in.
Plus, the broncos have had a number of pre-draft visits, but there are some key players they have not met with. Who are they, and why? The guys talk about some prospects in the draft that everyone should have their eye on moving forward this off-season.
Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about if the Broncos mismanaged the contracts of both offensive lineman Matt Paradis and linebacker Shaq Barrett. The guys look at their current situation and how the Broncos may have mismanaged both situations. Pritchard & Cecil look at both players value for the Denver Broncos and what they have brought to the team the last few seasons. The guys then jump into what running back C.J. Anderson must do in order to get back out of the business side of the Broncos and back into the good graces to where he can stay on the team in 2018. The guys look at how the C.J. Anderson situation could evolve over the summer.
Also, the guys talk about if the Broncos are locked in on a certain position in the second round of the draft. The guys break down whether or not the Broncos could be really looking to take a wide receiver in the second round of the draft.
Hour three Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos preseason schedule and the team opening up in the preseason against Trevor Siemian, Kyle Sloter and the Minnesota Vikings. The guys break down if this game at all means something more than a normal preseason game. Cecil Lammey goes through his thoughts on why this first preseason game against the Vikings later this year means more than normal preseason games. Mike Pritchard comes back and debates why it’s just another preseason game for the Denver Broncos. The guys go back in forth with that and talk about some players that were brought in for visits at Dove Valley before the draft in two weeks. The guys get into that and some more subjects from the first & second hours of the show.
For the rest of the final hour the guys get into some more Broncos draft topics as well as some news from around the NFL. The guys weigh in on that and much more!
